Temple Timings & Aarti Schedule
The Ram Mandir is open for public darshan daily from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM. The daily Aarti schedule is as follows: - Shringar Aarti: 6:30 AM (Morning) - Bhog Aarti: 12:00 Noon (Afternoon) - Sandhya Aarti: 7:30 PM (Evening) Devotees must obtain an Aarti entry pass in advance to attend these specific ceremonies.

Entry to the temple and darshan of Ram Lalla is completely free of cost. - General Queue: Free (Queue waiting time can range from 1 to 3 hours depending on crowd size). - Aarti Passes: Free of cost, but limited in quantity. They must be booked online via the official trust website (srjbtkshetra.org) or collected from the physical counter in Ayodhya using a valid government ID (Aadhaar, Passport) at least 24 hours in advance. - Sugam Darshan (Priority Pass): Can be booked on the official website for senior citizens and medical cases.
Dress Code & Prohibited Items
While there is no rigid code enforced yet, pilgrims are expected to wear respectful, traditional Indian clothing. - Recommended: Kurta-pyjama, dhoti, or trousers for men; Sarees, Salwar-kameez, or long skirts for women. - Avoid: Revealing outfits, shorts, and crop tops. - Security Rules: Mobiles, cameras, chargers, smartwatches, leather belts, keys, and bags are strictly forbidden inside the temple. Free, computerized locker counters are set up at the entry gate where you can safely submit your items.

By Air
Ayodhya now has its own airport: Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham (AYJ), located just 10 km from the temple, with direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. Alternatively, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow (LKO) is 130 km away and well-connected globally.
By Rail
Ayodhya Dham Junction (AY) is the main railway station, recently renovated with world-class facilities and located just 2 km from the temple. Ayodhya Cantt Station (AYC), located 8 km away, also connects to major trains from all parts of India.
By Road
Ayodhya is located on National Highway 28, with excellent highway connectivity to major cities in Uttar Pradesh. Regular direct buses run from Lucknow (130 km), Varanasi (200 km), Prayagraj (165 km), and Gorakhpur (135 km).
